About Us

We are the Madison Death Collective - a death and grief resource and a growing group of practitioners in the Greater Madison, WI area. We host events and provide support resources for grievers, caregivers, and practitioners alike.
 

This collective was founded by two women artists turned death and grief workers, who have experienced deep loss and grief, and who each understand the transformative power of true belonging, compassion, and the wisdom that comes from being transformed by death.

We know that we heal in community with each other, and therefore community care and a spirit of abundance are central to our work as a collective.

We believe death and grief work belongs in the hands of the people, where it had always been before recent history.

 

Whether you are a griever, healer, caregiver, death/grief practitioner, or curious soul - we look forward to hearing from you, and building this community with you.
